Know Someone Being Bullied?
Knowing someone who's being bullied can put more pressure on you than being bullied yourself. We all know what we should do if we see someone being bullied but it can be hard to do the right thing. Here are a couple things you can do.
♥ Let them know that you know they're being bullied and that you're there for them. They need to know there's someone on their side. If you don't know the person you could start be just being nice to them. Pair up with them in group activities, send them a text, open a chat on facebook, you never know what a little kindness can do.
♥ Stick up for them. If the bully is one of your friends and you know you'll have an affect on the situation then stick up for them a simple "don't be mean" can do the trick.
♥ Invite them into your group. If your circle of friends is separate from the bully then let them in.
♥ Get a friend onside. If you tell one of your friends that you've seen this person be bullied the two of you can have more of an impact.
♥ Tell a teacher. The person being bullied might be too scared to tell the teacher themselves.
Whatever you do don't ignore it. If you were the one being bullied you'd want someone to stick up for you.
